Uhuru mourns ex-assistant minister James Mbori

President Uhuru Kenyatta has sent a message of condolence to the family, relatives and friends of former Kasipul Kabondo MP and ex-local government assistant minister James Ezekiel Mbori, who died on Sunday at a Kisumu hospital.

In his message, President Kenyatta paid tribute to the late Mr Mbori, describing him as a great Kenyan leader whose patriotism enabled him to implement projects that have continued to benefit citizens long after he left active politics.

LEGACY

The President said Mr Mbori’s commitment as a legislator and a diligent Cabinet minister would remain a great legacy to Kenyans.

President Kenyatta observed that the former minister was especially instrumental in setting up structures that have become a reference point for most public institutions.

“As we mourn and pay homage to this visionary leader, let us also celebrate his life and achievements,” President Kenyatta said.

The President prayed to the Almighty God to grant the family, relatives and friends of the late former Cabinet Minister the strength and grace to bear the loss.
