The case in which Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama’s first wife seeks another order to stop him from evicting her from their matrimonial home in Mua will be heard Friday.

Mr Justice William Musyoka on Thursday certified the case as urgent.

Ms Agnes Kavindu wants the court to intervene and stop the senator from harassing her so that she can stay in peace.

She also wants Mr Muthama compelled to restore electricity and water to the house.

INHUMAN

Ms Kavindu, through lawyer Judith Thongori, claimed that Mr Muthama had recently made several attempts to remove her from the house despite a court order stopping him.

Ms Kavindu alleges that she has been treated in an inhuman way and deprived of her right to basic things like drinking water despite having two boreholes in the compound where the house stands.

She also claims that the water supply to her house was disconnected forcing her to use swimming pool water for washing and bathing.

She further accused her son, Moses, of removing all household items, such as cutlery, cooker, fridge and chairs, from the house in a bid to force her out.

She claimed that there were days when the security guard at the house locked her out and as a result she was robbed of her handbag.

According to Ms Kavindu, the senator even ordered that bees be put in the house so that she could move out.
