Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed arrived in Seychelles on Sunday for a two-day visit aimed at marketing Kenya as a tourism destination among other bilateral issues.

Kenyans working in Seychelles urged Amb Mohamed to hasten the establishment of a consular, the Foreign Affairs office said on Twitter.

They also welcomed the removal of double taxation, a deal signed in March, this year.

Ms Mohamed, who will meet Seychelles’ Foreign minister Jean Paul Adam as well as President James Michel, will also cement cooperation between the two countries on areas such as aviation, labour and trade.
