KeMU's Mombasa campus still open, says VC Maurice Okoth

The Kenya Methodist University (KeMU) has clarified that its Mombasa campus is still open.

According to university’s management, teaching and learning is going on uninterrupted at the campus.

Instead its only Kisii, Nyeri and Nakuru campuses that have been closed as the institution relooks at its expansion programme.

However, Vice-Chancellor, Prof Maurice Okoth, said the institution is likely to re-open the Nakuru campus.

"We are re looking at the Nakuru campus and we may ask the council to allow us re-open it due to its viability," said Prof Okoth.
