Jubilee pitches for Nairobi vote

The Jubilee Coalition is holding a rally in Nairobi's Uhuru Park.

Coalition leaders Uhuru Kenyatta of The National Alliance (TNA) and William Ruto of the United Republican Party (URP) are expected to address supporters from 2pm.

Mr Kenyatta is the Jubilee presidential candidate and Mr Ruto his running mate.

The Uhuru Park rally will be Jubilee's first in Nairobi.

Jubilee's rivals, the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (Cord) and Amani Coalition, will hold separate rallies in western Kenya Saturday.

Cord leaders Raila Odinga (ODM), Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper) and Moses Wetangula (Ford Kenya) will address a rally at Kitale's

Kenyatta Stadium. On Sunday, Cord will be in Bungoma for a rally at the Posta Grounds.

The Amani coalition team led by its presidential candidate Musalia Mudavadi of UDF and Eugene Wamalwa (New Ford Kenya) will be in Kakamega.

Mr Mudavadi’s team will be in Trans-Nzoia on Sunday before proceeding to Busia on Monday and wrap up in Vihiga on Tuesday.
