Jubilee Alliance presidential candidate Uhuru Kenyatta on Sunday pledged to form an all inclusive government in order to achieve peace.

Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta noted that peace was the definite means of achieving prosperity in the country.

"Our economy cannot grow without peace and if you vote for our alliance we will make sure you attain it," said DPM Kenyatta.

He cited the partnership with his running mate, William Ruto, who is also the Eldoret North MP as an indication of Kenyans willing to unite.

"Ruto and I were in opposing camps in 2007 but we put aside our differences and agreed to work together to unite this country," he said.

He accused Cord presidential candidate Raila Odinga of not accepting defeat in the last elections and thus his motivation to seek the presidency for a third time.

"Whatever happened in 2007 is history. He should accept it and move on," said DPM Kenyatta.

Speaking at a rally in Nyamarambi, Kisii County on the second day of a four day tour in the region, Mr Kenyatta promised to create job opportunities for the youth.

Also, Mr Ruto accused Cord of more talk and no actions calling on the crowd to reject the alliance.

"Choose whether you will support an alliance that will deliver on its promises or whether you will be in one that is all talk and rhetoric," said Ruto.

He said the Jubilee government will ensure that farmers are given seeds, fertilisers and credit facilities to ensure they get maximum output.
