Kalonzo Musyoka threatens Wiper rebels with ouster

Wiper Democratic Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has told party members holding political offices to show loyalty to the party's leadership.

The former Vice President was addressing party followers in Nzaikoni, Kathiani Sub-County, on Monday during the launch of the Okoa Kenya referendum campaign.

Kalonzo said it was a shame that some members of the Machakos County Assembly could ridicule him yet he was their party leader.

“You know very well that you are earning from my signature, and you go ahead to ridicule me. When I show you the way, you even insult and pray for my death. If you ever believe about the value of my party, you scale up or ship out,” said the irate Kalonzo.

POLITICAL WARS

He said the political wars in Machakos County were a big shame to the community and urged Governor Alfred Mutua and his deputy, Bernard Kiala, to reconcile immediately before he takes stern action against them.

“Machakos, enough is enough. Mutua and Kiala should unite and work for Machakos people," said Kalonzo.

Other leaders present at the event included Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana, Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Jr and Kathiani legislator Robert Mbui.
