Kenneth urges voters to reject tribal alliances

Presidential candidate Peter Kenneth on Sunday urged Kenyans to vote out politicians who have formed tribal alliances to ascend to power.
Speaking at St Joseph’s Nyamira Catholic Church, the Kenya National Congress (KNC) leader said leaders in such alliances will only serve interests of their respective tribes when elected.
“We want leaders who can unite all Kenyans but not those who are grouping themselves behind their tribes to ascend to power,” he said.
Mr Kenneth, who took his presidential campaign to Nyamira county, said he is the most suited for the top seat.
“It’s sad that some of the presidential candidates have ganged up behind their tribes and are now even threatening their competitors that unless they join they they are doomed politically. I will not subscribe to such tribal alignment as I am out to serve all Kenyans,” he said.
He said if elected president, he will ensure all 47 counties get a referral hospital, improve road networks and create job opportunities for unemployed youths.
He was accompanied by KNC politicians Shadrack Mose, Ndubi Kinaro,Catherine Nyamato, Joseph Rioba, Mary Matini, Justus Mochoge and Jerusah Momanyi.
