The matter is being investigated by officers at Parliament police station.

Police said the MP reported that he parked his Landcruiser there in May last year and discovered that it had been driven away on Friday.

The vehicle’s registration number was circulated across police stations in the country so that any officer who spots it should flag it down and impound it.

Investigators are also seeking to question sentries at Continental House on the vehicle’s whereabouts.

The detectives would also scrutinise record books in which sentries enter particulars of vehicles entering and leaving the precincts.
