Nasa leaders attend Senator Khaniri's mother burial in Vihiga

Three National Super Alliance (Nasa) leaders are in Vihiga to attend the burial of Senator George Khaniri’s mother Josephine Kageha, who died two weeks ago.
Ms Kageha, 74, is thhe wife of former Hamisi MP Nicodemus Khaniri.
ODM chief Raila Odinga, Musalia Mudavadi (ANC) and Moses Wetang'ula (Ford Kenya), are expected to use the burial ceremony to be held at Kapsotik Primary School in Hamisi to call on their supporters from the vote rich larger Western Kenya to enlist as voters before the Tuesday deadline.
The leaders have in the past complained about worrying numbers of people who are enlisting as voters warning that it could hurt the Nasa presidential candidate in the August polls.
They will also use the burial to sell their new outfit, Nasa, the brain child of Mr Mudavadi that has since been embraced by other opposition leaders.
The leaders who include Wiper Party boss Kalonzo Musyoka held the first Nasa rally in Bomet last Saturday and vowed to stick together to defeat President Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee Party in August.
They were hosted by Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto.
