The National Super Alliance (Nasa) will launch its manifesto on Monday.

Nasa flag-bearer Raila Odinga said the document addresses issues that would improve the lives of Kenyans.

He claimed the Jubilee government is corrupt and has led to an economic crisis in the country.

Addressing residents of Chuka town in Tharaka Nithi County on Friday, Mr Odinga said all sections of the country's economy have problems.

“All sectors are in crisis, including the essential health sector, but we have the remedy. Nasa will revive agriculture and make sure basic prices of things go down,” said Mr Odinga.

On education, the ODM party leader reiterated that if Nasa wins the August elections, it would scrap tuition fees in public primary and secondary schools and increase allocations to the Higher Education Loans Board.

“Jubilee has been cheating teachers on the issue of salary [raises] but Nasa will pay them well,” he said.

Mr Odinga’s running mate, Kalonzo Musyoka, for his part, tore into the Jubilee government, accusing it of tribalism.

He denied accusations that the opposition would revive the International Criminal Court (ICC) cases against President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto if they take power in the August 8 elections.

“We will unite Kenyans and we are not planning to revive the ICC cases. Jubilee is only seeking sympathy votes,” he said.

Nasa co-principals Moses Wetang’ula and Musalia Mudavadi urged locals to reject Jubilee in the coming elections, saying Kenya is set for change that would only be brought by Nasa.
