Four Nyeri MPs have led their supporters in storming the offices of Governor Nderitu Gachagua.
The protests were happening on Monday afternoon as the governor’s lawyer Peter Wanyama moved to court asking it to declare the impeachment proceedings null and void.
The lawyers said the governor was not given a fair hearing.
MPs in the protest were Kabando Wa Kabando, Mathira's Peter Weru, Kieni's Kanini Kega and Woman Representative Priscilla Nyokabi.
