The High Court has directed the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) to repeat nominations for Kisumu Central parliamentary seat.

The order was issued in a case filed by TNA Secretary General Onyango Oloo, who contested win by current MP Mr Ken Obura.

Mr Justice Francis Tuiyot overturned a decision by the Political Parties Dispute Tribunal (PPDT) clearing Mr Obura to vie for the parliamentary seat.

The Judge directed ODM party to repeat the nominations within 72 hours.

The judge faulted the tribunal for dismissing the claim by Mr Oloo.

The petitioner had claimed that the nomination exercise was marred with irregularities.
