READ AND UNDERSTAND

Majority Leader Aden Duale on Tuesday said the lawmakers would be given time to read and understand the findings before they gather in the afternoon to discuss them.

Cord MPs are expected to use the opportunity to criticise President Kenyatta’s nomination for the NIS job.

They have claimed that it entrenched tribalism in the national security apparatus.

Last week, Homa Bay Town MP Peter Kaluma wrote to Speaker Justin Muturi asking him to stop the vetting of Maj-Gen Kameru and ask the President to nominate someone from outside central Kenya.
