Uhuru, Ruto begin Nakuru tour on Wednesday

President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto begin their two-day tour of Nakuru County on Wednesday.

The two will Wednesday morning commission treatment works at Chemususu Dam in Eldama Ravine, Baringo County, before proceeding to Molo, Njoro and Nakuru towns by road.

They are scheduled to address roadside meetings on the way. The first public address will be in Eldama Ravine Town.

On the way to Molo, the leaders will stop at Makutano, Kamara and Total Junction and speak to residents.

Later, the President will launch rehabilitation works for Molo-Olenguruone road

He will then address a public rally at Molo Stadium at 12.30pm before proceeding to launch three interchanges in Nakuru: Nyahururu turnoff
Njoro turnoff and Mau Summit junction.

The two will also address roadside meetings in Elburgon, Njoro and Nakuru towns.

On Thursday, President Kenyatta is scheduled to host county leaders for a breakfast meeting at State House Nakuru before launching medical equipment at the Rift Valley General Hospital.

He will then proceed to Nyandarua and Laikipia counties to launch rehabilitation works of Dundori-Oljororok road and commission the Nyahururu Water Project.
