Kenyans, including MPs receive Uhuru Kenyatta outside the International Criminal Court

Dozens of Kenyans, including Members of Parliament, welcomed President Uhuru Kenyatta at the steps of the International Criminal Court on Wednesday.

A crowd of supporters had welcomed the President as he arrived for a status conference at the court.
The crowd, some wearing caps and scarfs in the colours of the Kenyan flag, jostled to greet the President as he arrived at the court.

Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko was among leaders who were present when President Kenyatta arrived at the ICC.

The President is accompanied for The Hague trip by his wife Margaret and his daughter Ngina.
