Campaign trail: This is where party leaders will be today

What you need to know:

  • Mr Kalonzo will lead a group of opposition leaders in a tour of Nyamira and some parts of Kisii.
  • Deputy President William Ruto will also be touring various parts of Rift Valley today to enhance the Jubilee's voter listing mobilisation.

Cord leader Raila Odinga will today tour Samburu to continue with his voter listing mobilisation around the country.

Mr Odinga is keen on renewing relationship with the Maa community after they trouped to President Uhuru Kenyatta's side in the last elections.

"Mr Odinga will be in Samburu on Thursday to sensitize voters to register before the deadline for the ongoing MVR," said his spokesman Dennis Onyango.

On Wednesday Mr Odinga was in Kajiado where he was joined by Kajiado Central MP Memusi Kanchory to mobilise voters to register.

The tour comes amidst fears opposition strongholds are performing dismally in the ongoing registration.

But Mr Odinga's team has restrategised ordering all MPs to camp in their constituencies to monitor the exercise.

While Mr Odinga will be in Samburu his other NASA colleagues including Wiper Democratic Movement Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka will be in Nyamira tomorrow.

Mr Kalonzo will lead a group of opposition leaders in a tour of Nyamira and some parts of Kisii before joining the rest of the team in Bomet for an inaugural rally in the the town.

Deputy President William Ruto will also be touring various parts of Rift Valley today to enhance the Jubilee's voter listing mobilisation.
