DP William Ruto set for Nyanza meetings

Deputy President William Ruto will on Sunday head to Nyanza, Cord leader Raila Odinga’s home turf, for several meetings.
Mr Ruto, who a few days ago exchanged words with Mr Odinga over the controversial Weston Hotel, has been invited to preside over two church functions in Siaya and Kisumu counties.
The Deputy President on Sunday will attend a church service at the Anglican Church of Kenya, Bondo Diocese. Mr Odinga comes from Bondo in Siaya County.
On Monday, Mr Ruto will be the guest at the Silver Jubilee Celebrations for Archbishop Zacchaeus Okoth, which will be held at Uzima University College.
The visit comes less than a week after Mr Ruto and President Uhuru Kenyatta visited Mumias Sugar Company in Kakamega and presented a cheque for Sh1 billion to revive the sugar factory.
