The recent comment by the President on the effects of illegal brews in the country underscores the gravity of the problem.

The President appeared to be wishing the problem away as he only pointed it out without telling us how to stem it.

Many Kenyans have died of the killer brews. The brews have affected many families, and school enrolment rate is plummeting.

This trend has prevailed under the watch of the provincial administration and despite of the famous Mututho law.

It is time the government woke up and saved our youth.
