Solve this land problem now

We, the residents of Mwakitau, would like to call upon the authorities to deal with the problem of land-grabbing in our area. Our leaders have failed to tackle the problem and it may soon get out of hand.

A retired chief went to the Lands office and acquired a title deed for our land on which stands a primary and secondary school. These schools may not register candidates for their final exams.

He allegedly acquired the land on the pretext that there were no people living there apart from animals, yet our great-grandfathers were buried here. Our MP, Mr Calist Mwatela, should speak out on this issue.
