A wall would do us good on the Somalia border

I support the proposal to erect a perimeter wall along the Kenya-Somalia border to contain Al-Shabaab terrorists.

The concrete fence would resemble the one on the Israel-Palestine border that acts both as a border and defence against terrorists.

That wall would serve a similar purpose because there is no clear boundary between Mandera County and Somalia.

The imaginary boundary that exists currently is also porous, making it easy for Al-Shabaab to ship weapons into Kenya.

And since the Kenya Defence Forces and police have failed to patrol and keep the border safe, the perimeter wall would come in handy in containing the extremists.
