Best option for saving orphaned cheetah cubs

I would like to make a comment on the fate of orphaned cheetah cubs reported in the last edition of the Sunday Nation.
While there is no doubt that the government own all wildlife in Kenya, the welfare of these cubs should surely be taken into account.
There are two options. The first is the KWS takes them and leaves them in the zoo at Nairobi National Park for the rest of their days.
The second is to let the Mara Conservancy keep them, attempt to raise them and, eventually, return them to the wild. While this will be very difficult and may well fail, surely this is the best option for the cheetah cubs?
At least two other sets of orphaned cheetah cubs have previously been raised successfully in the Mara and in other parts of Africa there has been similar successes.
