Educate public to use social media responsibly

Kenyans now socialise, share opinions, videos and photographs and chat online more that ever before.

However, a chunk of online interaction is unethical and infringes on other Internet users’ privacy.

People circulate pictures showing leaders and celebrities in compromising situations. Imagine the psychological damage this can cause to their families, colleagues and friends.

Some of the posted pictures may appear to reflect our true moral decadence, but they also break marriages and shatter relationships.

Politicians should also learn the consequences of fanning hatred.
