In developed countries, talents are highly valued.

Governments invest a lot in talents such as music and sports. Young talents are nurtured to become dependable sources of income.

Through such talents, people become professionals in different fields like sports, music, drama and theatre. These people always give back to the society.

Recently, American tennis champion Serena Williams built a secondary school in Makueni District.

She is a champion today because her talent was nurtured. Many Kenyan youths in the slums are wasting their talents, from acrobats to professional footballers.
