Kenyans to blame for their troubles in Arabia

I wish to comment on your main story about Kenyans in Arab slave markets (Sunday Nation, August 19).

These Kenyans, especially women who leave for work in Saudi Arabia are not registered with the Kenyan embassy in Saudi Arabia, as they are duped by bogus recruitment agencies who promise them heaven. Why, don’t they do their research first?

Most of these Kenyans break the law in Saudi Arabia, some of them engage in illegal activities like prostitution and begging and once caught, they start to blame the Saudi government.

Also to blame are our corrupt immigration officers who collude with these agents.
