It is shocking that in this modern age some people are doing unorthodox things in the name of observing tradition.

How can people in their right senses bury a live calf to satisfy the wishes of a dead man? I am referring to the recent incident in Murang’a.

Assuming the dead man had wished that a close relative be buried alive next to his grave, would they have carried out the order?

Since when did fathers start demanding bride price from their in-laws?

Doesn’t that lower the dignity of our sisters as they will be viewed as mere objects of transactions? Animal rights groups should take action against the culprits.
