We broke law as Kibaki signed new Constitution

In march 2005, Kenya ratified the Rome Statute of the ICC and on June 1, the international treaty came into force for Kenya.

There are 139 member states of the Rome Statute. Any member state should adhere by the rules of the treaty.

We were signing in the new laws on Friday as we were breaking another. Omar al-Bashir should have been arrested and handed over to the International Criminal Court as the treaty stipulates

The question lingers as to whether Kenya will cooperate with ICC and arrest the 2007 warlords.
