A dream Top Eight finale could be in the horizon after perennial rivals AFC Leopards and Gor Mahia avoided each other in the semi-finals draws conducted on Tuesday at the Kenyan Premier League secretariat.

Leopards, who are yet to win the tournament since it was launched four years ago, were paired against the competition’s newcomers Kenya Commercial Bank.

Gor Mahia landed holders Tusker in the other semi-final.

Should Leopards claw the bankers in the two-leg semis and Gor overpower the brewers, the stage will be set for a mouth-watering finale pitting Kenya’s’ two most successful clubs.

Tusker won the gong last term by pipping Thika United in the post-match penalties. Enroute to bagging the title, they dispatched Gor at the semis stage and K’Ogalo will be out to avenge last year’s defeat.

The two antagonists have already locked horns this term in a league fixture that ended in a 1-1 stalemate.
