Just who, or what, will stop Kenya Pipeline and Kenya Prisons’ dominance in the Kenya Volleyball Federation women's league?

The two teams, who have won the last seven editions of the competition, were once again dominant during the fourth leg of league matches on Saturday at the Nanyuki Stadium.

Pipeline easily won their two matches against Western Bombers and Kenya Commercial Bank.

Not even the presence of veteran attacker Dorcas Ndasaba in the Bombers set up could threaten Pipeline, who soared to a 3-0 (25-10, 25-15 and 25-10) victory.
Pipeline, who are the league's defending champions, later on dismissed the Bankers 3-1 (25-18, 17-25, 27-25 and 25-23) whilst Bombers recovered to defeat Mount Kenya University in straight sets of 25-12, 25-14 and 25-16 scores.

Prisons hammered Nairobi Water 3-0 (25-18, 25-15 and 25-23).

In the men's league, Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) posted an impressive 3-0 (25-19, 25-21 and 25-18) win over Nairobi Prisons in a mid-table fixture.

In other results, Co-operative Bank scooped six points from their two outings to extend their unbeaten run to five matches.

The Bankers initially defeated Administration Police 3-0 (25-21, 25-16 and 25-9) and then were handed a walkover after Forest Rangers failed to turn up.

Kenya Defence Forces also ended up on the winning side, after edging Nairobi Water 3-2 (19-25, 27-25, 23-25, 25-18 and 15-10).
