Teams to be named on Wednesday

What you need to know:

  • Most final races of the World Under-18 trials set for Nyayo Stadium on Wednesday will feature girls’ 5,000m race walk, 400m, 800m and 1,500m.
  • There will also be girls and boys’ 3,000m and 2,000m steeplechase.

Most final races of the World Under-18 trials set for Nyayo Stadium on Wednesday will feature girls’ 5,000m race walk, 400m, 800m and 1,500m.

There will also be girls and boys’ 3,000m and 2,000m steeplechase.

Men’s 5,000m and 3,000m steeplechase, and 200m for men and women final for the Africa Under-20 Championships will also be held.

A team of 46 girls and boys will be named to represent Kenya at the World Under-18 Athletics Championships in Nairobi from July 12 -16.
