American great Christian Taylor won the men's triple jump world title for the third time on Thursday with a best mark of 17.68 metres.

The 27-year-old's compatriot and two-time Olympic runner-up Will Claye took silver with 17.63m and 2008 Olympic champion Nelson Evora of Portugal the bronze with 17.19m.
