Trinidad and Tobago stunned favourites the United States to win the men's 4x400 metres men's relay title on Sunday.

The Trinidadians' last two runners Machel Cedenio and Lalonde Gordon ate into the Americans' lead before the latter passed Fred Kerly in the finishing straight to take a memorable gold in 2min 58.12sec.

The United States took silver in 2:58.61sec with Britain taking third in 2:59.00.
