CAF settle on Equatorial Guinea for 2015 AFCON host

The football authorities in Equatorial Guinea have announced that the country will host the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations after an agreement was reached with the Confederation of African Football.
The country’s national broadcaster on Friday said the decision stems from the fact that the country has in the past hosted several delegates from CAF and the country's fast-improving infrastructure that is billed to be capable of hosting the tournament.
CAF has confirmed the development through it's official Twitter handle. "The Orange Africa Cup of Nations 2015 will be held in Equatorial Guinea. Tournament to run from Jan 17 to 8th Feb."
Equatorial Guinea, who had co-hosted the 2012 African Cup of Nations with Gabon, will replace Morocco, who refused to host the tournament over Ebola.
Morocco was replaced and red-carded from appearing in the tournament by CAF despite asking for the postponement of the competition over Ebola scare.
The tournament is set to run from January 17 to February 8.
