Ebola outbreak forces Sierra Leone to switch Cameroon game

- The two countries were already scheduled to play the reverse fixture at the same venue on October 15.
- Nearly 3,000 people, most of them in Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea, have died as a result of the Ebola virus.

Sierra Leone will play their Africa Nations Cup qualifier against Cameroon in their rival's capital city because of the ongoing Ebola crisis, the Cameroon football federation (Fecafoot) said.
"Cameroon favourably welcomed the request of Sierra Leone to play the October 11 game in Yaounde," said Fecafoot.
The two countries were already scheduled to play the reverse fixture at the same venue on October 15.
Sierra Leone have already been ordered to play all of their home games outside of the country.
They played their home game against the Democratic Republic of Congo in Lubumbashi.
Cameroon lead Group D with six points, ahead of the Democratic Republic of Congo and Ivory Coast, who both have three points, with Sierra Leone still without a point.
