Four Gor Mahia fans have been fined Sh5000 each for interrupting a meeting of the top Kenya Premier League club in Nairobi last Friday.

Kelvin Ochieng, Zakayo Ayieko, John Otieno and Leonard Onyango were convicted on their own plea of guilty.

A Kibera court on Monday sentenced them to two months in prison if they fail to pay the fine.

The prosecution’s case was that on February 17 2017, the accused, with others who were not in court, stormed an office at Nyayo National Stadium where club officials were holding a strategy meeting.

They were informed that the meeting was for officials only but they refused to leave, became rowdy and later started hurling objects at the officials.
