“I’m happy. There is pressure with being at the top but it’s a good feeling and good for the management. The office has put much effort in the team and we are reaping the fruits,” an ecstatic Bandari coach Twahir Muhiddin said shortly after the match.
King’atua’s creativity in the middle of the pack and Duncan Otewa’s high work ethics at the rear worked in favour of the visitors. The hosts’ weak midfield also gave room to John Ndirangu to wreak havoc time and again with pin-point passes. In the 57th minute, Ndirangu broke clear and made a mazy run towards Stars’ goal to find Shaban Kenga who blasted above the cross bar from an cute angle.
