LONDON

Liverpool have agreed terms with Hungary international goalkeeper Adam Bogdan, whose contract is up at Bolton.

Bogdan, 27, who made more than 100 appearances for Bolton, will be a free agent at the end of the month and will officially join Liverpool on July 1.

He is the club's third close season signing so far, after they picked up two other out-of-contract players, Manchester City midfielder James Milner and Burnley striker Danny Ings.

Liverpool are still trying to agree a fee for Ings with Burnley, who are entitled to compensation because Ings is under the age of 24.

Burnley have rejected an initial bid of four million pounds ($6.2 million, 5.5 million euros) and the club are understood to be looking for a figure closer to 10 million pounds for the England nder-21 international.

Liverpool, meanwhile, have turned down a 30 million-pound offer from Manchester City for want-away striker Raheem Sterling.

The Merseysiders value the 20-year-old, who has 24 months left on his current deal, in excess of 50 million pounds.
