KCB sign up eight players for new season

KCB coach Rishadi Shedu on Friday paraded eight new players recruited during the December-January Kenyan Premier League transfer window which closes at midnight.

The eight new signings include Ugandan defender Bernard Agili, former Gor Mahia midfielders Yusuf Juma and Daniel Onyango, Duncan Wafula and Joshua Oyoo (both from Tusker), and former Bandari midfielder Victor Majid.

Former team captain Benedict Owuor also returns to the team after a season-long absence following a knee surgery, while defender Mark Odhiambo who was on loan from Tusker has also joined the club on a two-year contract.

Shedu said that he had gone for experience in selecting the recruits, adding that he anticipates an excellent 2015 season.

Shedu also said former striker Paul Kiongera will return to the club following an agreement between the club and Simba SC management.
