Bayern Munich's injured top-scorer Robert Lewandowski flew with the squad on Tuesday to Barcelona for their Champions League semi-final, first-leg, but French winger Franck Ribery was amongst those left behind.

The 26-year-old Lewandowski, who has scored 23 goals this season, hopes to play at the Camp Nou with a protective mask despite fracturing his cheekbone and nose in Bayern's German Cup semi-final defeat to Borussia Dortmund last Tuesday.

"We'll see tomorrow," said the Poland international when asked about his chances of playing.

But Bayern will be without the 32-year-old Ribery, who has been out since March 11 with an ankle injury.

As well as Ribery, Bayern coach Pep Guardiola, who will be making his first appearance at Barcelona since winning 14 titles in four years, left behind injured stars Arjen Robben, Holger Badstuber and David Alaba.
