  • In their efforts to ensure a better run in the upcoming season, the brewers have already roped in former Gor Mahia defender Donald Mosoti.

Ten-time Kenyan Premier League champions Tusker on Monday welcomed Nakuru All Stars midfielder Cersidy Lumumba into their fold after he signed a three-year contract with the brewers.

The brewers’ director Charles Obiny confirmed Lumumba’s inclusion to the team, saying that more recruitment would follow.

“We have managed to sign the player on a three-year contract and it is everybody’s expectation here that he will make an impact.  He (Lumumba) has been in our plans for a while now because of his dedication, and the coach thought he can fit well in the team,” he said.

Lumumba became the fourth player to leave the Nakuru-based team.

Erastus Mwaniki and John Ndirangu joined Sofapaka and Bandari respectively.

Goalkeeper Shabaan Odhoji’s move to KPL-bound Posta Rangers is at an advanced stage as the returning side seeks to make an impact in top flight football after a two year absence.
