Football fan Shadrack Yego has won Sh985,000, a consolation prize for correctly predicting 13 results out of the 15 matches offered in Betin Kenya’s Football Jackpot.

And for Yego, it was a pleasant surprise as he didn’t realise that he had won the prize money.

He came close to claiming the jackpot prize of Sh10 million but failing to rightly predict the result of the other two games cost him the ultimate fortune.

Betin offers consolation prizes to punters who correctly predicts 13 or 14 of the fifteen matches on offer.

The company’s Jackpot operates at least once a week and covers fixtures from popular football leagues such the English Premier League, Uefa Champions League, Spanish La Liga and Italian Serie A.
