Sofapaka bank on their fighting spirit to go top

PATIENCE NEEDED

He however acknowledges that it is going to be a while before the new players gel to produce a good performance.

“We don’t have any big names,” he said. “Most of the popular players left, but that has not killed out spirit.

“We must fight on as a club, and I am ready to use the players that I have at my disposal to help the club reach its target.”

Batoto ba Mungu have lost all their first-team members that they had at the beginning of the 2015 season, and that is definitely expected to upset the squad balance.

They lost Felly Mulumba while John “Barry” Baraza has since retired from active football. He joined the team’s technical bench.
