Gor Mahia coach Marcelo Ferreira will be under immense pressure when he leads his charges against domestic cup holders Bandari in a Kenyan Premier League match at Moi Stadium in Kisumu on Sunday.

His Tusker counterpart Paul Nkata will face the same pressure as he plots to take down Mathare United on Saurday at Safaricom Stadium in Kasarani.

AFC Leopards, who are enjoying relatively good form, have retreated to their Mumias Sports Complex in readiness for their second leg match against Ushuru.

With only ten games left before the end of the 2016 season, K’Ogalo fans are growing impatient with the team’s recent unsatisfactory performance.

Gor’s winless streak extended to three matches in four outings after Wednesday’s barren draw away to Sony Sugar.

But right back Karim Nizigiyimana has confidence in Ferreira.

“The players are behind him. It is just a matter of time before he turns things around,” he told Saturday Nation Sport.

The 15-time champions face a Bandari side that is also struggling with inconsistency. Bandari coach Ken Odhiambo said he is looking forward to the match.

“I expect a good result against them (Gor). This time round we shall strive to engage them throughout the game. We have crafted a good strategy which I believe will work. If the referees remain impartial then I guarantee the fans that they will enjoy a good game,” coach said.

Leaders Tusker, who have been in pole for the last three months take on Mathare. They must win to remain at the top. The brewers have picked only two points in their last three games.

In Mumias, Ingwe entertain Ushuru as they seek to extend their unbeaten run to five games.
