All Stars are scheduled to depart for Kakamega County Friday, ahead of their league engagement against AFC Leopards at the Mumias Sports Complex.

“Playing against AFC Leopards will be tough because they are playing at home and they will also be wary of us considering how we performed against Gor. But we have prepared well and are ready to work twice as hard,” the 18-year-old told Nation Sport.

The win against Gor broke the Nakuru-based club’s losing streak in the league. In fact, it earned them their first points of the season.

“The win against Gor was the turning point for us. Now we know what we can do.

“I believe in the boys and we are back in business which is to score goals,” AllStars coach Peter Okidi added.

Leopards have been struggling in the league thus far in the season.

Runners up last year, they have scooped a paltry seven points out of a possible 18, and it will be interesting to see how coach James Nandwa’s charges perform against the fired up giant killers at the host team’s second home.

Leopards laboured to beat Sony Sugar 1-0 via a penalty March 19 but just could not break down an organised Chemelil Sugar in their weekend clash that ended in a barren draw.
