MANCHESTER

Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure returned to training on Tuesday on the eve of his side's Champions League semi-final second leg away to Real Madrid.

The Ivory Coast international has missed City's last two games, including last week's 0-0 first-leg draw, with a thigh injury, but could now be in contention for the return match in the Spanish capital.

Spanish playmaker David Silva has been ruled out after sustaining a hamstring injury in the first leg, while French midfielder Samir Nasri is ineligible.

The City squad are due to fly to Madrid later on Tuesday, with manager Manuel Pellegrini and left-back Gael Clichy set to address the media at the Bernabeu later in the day.
