Ivorian striker Ephrem Guikan has finally parted ways with Gor Mahia, Nation Sport can exclusively reveal.

The 24-year-old is reportedly in Ndola to finalise a move to Zambian Super League side Buildcon FC.

"Yes it's true Guikan has left Gor and is closing in on a transfer here," a source from the Zambia said.

The unsettled forward reportedly fell out with head coach Hassan Oktay after he was pulled out of the Gor's 4-0 win over Mt Kenya United in the first half a fortnight ago. He stormed into the dressing room as a section of fans jeered him.

This is the second time Guikan, who joined Gor Mahia January last year from Mauritius side AS Port Louis, has fallen out with Gor coaches.

He first fell out with Dylan Kerr and he was on the verge of quitting the club before making a dramatic U-turn after the Briton left for South African Premier League side Black Leopards.

The Ivorian had been initially left out of Gor Mahia's Caf squad but there was talk of his name being added into the squad in secondary registration window but was again overlooked.

Gor CEO Lordvick Aduda earlier told Nation Sport that Dennis Oliech, Geoffrey Ochieng and Nicholas Kipkirui had their names submitted to Caf ahead of this Sunday's Caf Confederation Cup group D match against Zamalek of Egypt.
