Big-hitting Indiza takes the lead at Rapid Golf Tour

Mumias-based Dismas Indiza fired his way to the top of the leader board on day two of the third leg of the newly launched Rapid Golf Tour (RGT) at the par 71 Muthaiga Golf Club course Tuesday.
A big hitter, Indiza, started firing right from the first hole, rolling in a birdie put at the first and later at the third. However he missed a small put at the par three-second, to pick up the first of the day’s two bogeys.
He again missed a par at the usually easy par five-fourth, but managed to birdie the sixth and seventh for two under par at the front nine.
“Save for the two putts over the two holes, my putting today has been very good and I hope it stays like this up and until next week’s Nyali Open,” said Indiza.
He said the Muthaiga course was in an excellent condition at the moment and easy for one to make as many birdies.
He played a clean back nine which started with an eagle three at the 19th, there after Indiza remained focus and on course up to the 17th where he birdied for a low 32 and the day’s five under par 66.
