Dismas Indiza in charge at Nairobi event

Long hitter Dismas Indiza fired his way to the top of the leader board as the KCB Golf Tour second leg entered its half way mark at Royal Nairobi Golf Club on Wednesday.
The Mumias Sugar Golf Club professional shot his second two under par 70 for a two rounds total of four under par 140.
He picked up four birdies at the front nine against three bogeys, then made a double-bogey at the par four-12th hole but birdied the 13th, 14th and 15th thereafter.
"The greens were better today compared to the first round though I made some bad putts," Indiza said.
He was joined at the top by Nyanza Golf Club’s David Odhiambo who also shot two under par 70 for 140.
"I had a good chance of a lower score but made some bad putts. But the two under par was not so bad," added Indiza.
Odhiambo’s round included three birdies and a single bogey at the third hole. Vet Lab’s Brian Njoroge was just a shot off the leaders, also after firing one under par 70.
Njoroge birdied twice at the out ward nine and a similar number of birdies at the back nine where he however dropped two shots at the 11th and 16th.
