Golf Park’s Jacob Okello on top in KCB tourney

What you need to know:

  • The Golf Park professional birdied the first and second but picked up a bogey at the fifth, and  double bogey six at the seventh to finish one over the front nine.
  • Okello dropped two shots at the last two holes of the back nine for his 73, which gave him a total of four under par 140.

Overnight leader Jacob Okello remained at the top of the leader board at the close of round two in the on going KCB Corporate golf tournament at the par 72 Thika Sports Club, despite firing one over par 73 on Thursday.

The Golf Park professional birdied the first and second but picked up a bogey at the fifth, and  double bogey six at the seventh to finish one over the front nine.

Okello dropped two shots at the last two holes of the back nine for his 73, which gave him a total of four under par 140.

He is a shot ahead of Joseph Karanja (Golf Park) and Railway’s Njuguna Ngugi who are tie in second place.
