He however produced an impressive five under par 67 in the second round to make the two under par cut. And finally, he shot 70 and 71 for six under par total to tie for 44th place.

He earned 800 euros and a chance for an entry to this week’s Swiss Open in Switzerland where he is on the starting list in Thursday’s opening round.

“I started badly but managed to recover in the second round which earned me a place in the final two rounds,’’ said Snow who during the Barclays Kenya Open at Karen finished 10th place.

Winning the Slavia Open was Scotland’s Andrew McArthur with 21 under par 267, finishing ahead of England’s Sam Hutsby on 19 under par 269.

ROOS IMPRESSIVE PERFORMANCE

The winner of this year’s Kenya Open Jake Roos is placed fourth in the Order of Merit with 70,077 which assures him of a top 15 finish enroute to the main European Tour.

Roos won the Aegean Airlines Challenge in Germany at the end of June while Pinto clinched his second Challenge Tour in France in June 15. The top 15 at the end of the season will graduate to the main European Tour.

Snow’s top 10 finish in the Kenya Open earned invitation to play in five events in the European part of the Challenge. Before the Slovakia event, he had participated in the regional qualifier of the Open at Royal Liverpool, where he managed to reach the final stages.
